We use social media in our day to day life. One of the social media is the WhatsApp. which is used on large scale. We use our mobile number to login and to communicate with each other for sharing media, chatting, etc.

Sometimes we looses or mobile or we change our sim to another new sim with new  number. in this cases we want to change the mobile number of our WhatsApp number

So now what should we do to change the mobile number in WhatsApp we are going to see in todays blog. so please follow the given step carefully. 

Step 1 : open WhatsApp in your mobile. go to the Status, Click on the 3 dots. Select the Setting option.

Step 2 : Click on the Accounts option. Click on the Change Number option.

Step 3 : Click on the Next Option. Enter your old WhatsApp number. Now Enter Your New Mobile Number. Click on Next option.

Step 4 : If you want to notify your contacts that you have changed your mobile number then you have 3 options. Turn  on Notify contacts option.

1. All Contacts : A  notification or small message will be sent to all your contact that you have changed your number.

2. Contacts : I have chat : this option will only notify the persons with whom you have chat.

3. Custom : after selecting custom you have to choose manually the contacts to whom you want to notify about change of number.

Step 5 : After selecting anyone option, Click on Done option. You will receive  OTP. Enter the 6 digits OTP and your number will be change successfully.
