How to Solve Mention problem in Instagram – Can’t mention someone on Instagram Story

Whenever we are posting Instagram story, we mention our friends, but nowadays we are not able to mention our friends, Whenever we put a story on Instagram,

We should mention our friends so that our story reaches them and they can put it on your story, then we are facing a problem in this mention.

Step 1 : First go to your Instagram profile, click on the 3 lines on the top right corner.

Step 2 : Click on setting option.

Step 3 : Click on privacy option.

Step 4 : Here you have to click on the mention option.

Step 5 : Here you have to check that alarm engine problem is not there if it is on no1 it means no one can mention us we have to do it on everyone because of which anyone can mention us if we follow it on people follow Only those people whom we have followed can mention us, so click on Everyone.

The problem of mentioning can come from another reason, such as if the person in front has blocked you, then we can face this problem, then  tell  user in front  to  unblock us, because of which we can mention them.
