How to Deactivate Messenger on iPhone/Android | How to Deactivate Messenger Account only
We use many applications on our mobile, we use many social media account applications, one of them is Facebook application, Messenger application is used for chatting in Facebook, today I will tell you how you can deactivate your messenger account. So, Follow all the given steps carefully.
METHOD : 1
Step 1 : Open messenger application on your device. login to messenger account
Step 2 : Click on the profile icon. Scroll down and click on the account setting option. Click on personal information option.
Step 3 : Click on manage account option. Click on deactivate option
Step 4 : enter your account password and click on continue option. scroll down and click on other option
Step 5 : Enter the reason of deactivating.
For Example : “I want to deactivate Messenger. Please reactivate my messenger account.” and click on continue option.
METHOD : 2
Step 1 :open Facebook application. Login to account you want to deactivate.
Step 2 : Click on the 3 lines option. scroll down and Click on the setting and privacy option. click on setting option.
Step 3 : Click on setting and personal information option. Click on account ownership and control option.
Step 4 : Click on deactivation & delete option. Select deactivate account. Click on the continue Account deactivate option
Step 5 : Enter the password of your account. Click on the continue option.
Step 6 : Scroll down, Click on it 7 days option and don’t activate automatically option and click on continue option. (check that there is a untick on the Messenger option )
Step 7 : click on deactivate my account option
Your Messenger account will remain deactivate until you login to it again.
