Step 1 : open the Facebook application on your device and login to your Facebook account.

Step 2 : click on the three lines on the top right corner. Click on the setting and privacy option & click on setting option.

Step 3 : Click the personal and account information option. Click on the account ownership and control option.

Step 4 : Click on deactivating and deleting and select deactivate account option.

Step 5 : Click the “continue to account deactivation” option. Enter the password of your account and click on continue option.

Step 6 : Select ‘this is temporary I will be back‘. Click on continue option.

Step 7 : Click on 7 days and select don’t reactivate automatically option and click on the continue option

Step 8 : If you want to transfer your images videos. Click on the transfer option and select Google photos option. Click on the connect option and select your email id and click on the confirm transfer option.

Step 9 : If you want to keep using messenger, Then tick on the keep using messenger option.

Step 10 : If you want to get the notification from Facebook. Then tick on opt out of receiving future notification from Facebook option.

Step 11 : Click on deactivate my account option.
