How to Apply Passport Online – Passport Apply Online | New Passport Documents & Fees

Hello friends, we may need to go to other countries many times, we go from one country to another by airplane, ships or by road, but we need a passport to go to other countries, so today we will tell you how you can apply for passport online.

Step 1 : open the official link of passport India Government website and click on the new user registration option. (Apply: https://www.passportindia.gov.in/)

New Registration page

New registration page will open in front of you enter the following details

• register to apply at : passport office
• passport office : select nearest office from your city
• enter your first name and middle name
• last name/surname
• enter your date of birth
• enter your email id
• do you want your login ID same as email ID ? : Select yes
• your email id will be displayed as login ID
• password : create a strong password
• confirm the password
• select any hint question
• enter the answer of the hint question
• enter the captcha code

Step 2 : click on register option now you will receive a mail open that mail and click on link for verification.

Step 3 : for verification, enter your user id and click on the submit option. Click on click here to login option. enter your login ID and click on the continue option. Enter the password of the login ID and enter the captcha code and click on login option.

Step 4 : click on apply for fresh passport reissue of passport option. Click on click here to fill the application form online option.

Select the following details

• applying for : fresh passport
• type of application : normal
• Booklet type : 36 pages

click on Next option

Applicant Detail Page

Select/enter the following details

• first name and middle name
• surname
• select your gender
• have you ever been known by another name ? : no
• have you ever change your name ? : no
• enter date of birth
• is your place of birth outside of India ? : no
• place of birth
• state/U.t
• districts
• marital status
• citizenship of India by : birth
• PAN card number
• enter voter ID number
• select employment type
• is either of your parent/spouse a government servant : no
• select your educational qualification
• is applicant eligible for non-ecr category : no
• visible distinguish mark
• Aadhar number
• select yes : for I agree

click on save my details option & click on next option

Family Details Page

Select/enter the following details

• father’s/legal Guardians name : First name & middle name
• surname
• mother’s name : first name and middle name
• surname
• legal guardian’s : first name & middle name
• surname

click on save my details option and click on next option.

Present Residential Address Page

Select/enter the following details

• is your present address out of India : no
• house number and street name
• village/town/city
• state/UT
• district
• police station
• pincode
• mobile number
• telephone number
• email ID
• is permanent address available : no

click on save my details option and click on next option

Emergency contact page

(of any one person in case of your emergency they can contact to that person)

Select/enter the following details

• name and address
• mobile number
• telephone number
• email ID

click on save my details option and click on next option

Identify Certificate / Passport details page

Select/enter the following details

• have you held old any identify certificate : no
• details of previous/current diplomatic/official passport : details not available/never hold diplomatic /official passport
• have you ever applied for passport but not issued? : no

click on save my details option and click on next option.

others detail Page

Select yes or no for ask questions

click on save my details option and click on next option.

Passport Details verification page

Check the overall details where field will appear on a screen for preview after checking everything if the details are correct then click on the next option.

Self Declaration Page

Select/enter the following details.

Tick on the box of the I agree and click on the Save my details option and click on submit option.

Step 5 : Click on pay and scheduled appointment option.

Pay and scheduled appointment Page

Select/enter the following details.

• Select online payment option and click on next option.
• For scheduling appointment : click on the next option & select location.

Enter Captcha & Click on the Next option.

Pay & Book Appointment Page

Pay and book appointment option and pay the amount & Click confirm option.

Note : go to the passport office with the the documents on schedule date.
